During a dominant showing, England wrapped up a further victory against Albania, featuring several players turning in notable performances throughout the game.

First-choice Eleven

The defender Pushed up the pitch when in possession, something he's known for in the past. On occasion lacked urgency on the ball and the tactic abandoned at half-time. 6

Dan Burn Always dangerous at set pieces, per usual, but may be another option for Stones in the backline as opposed to his partner. A loose ball in the second half came close to the first goal from Albania. 6/10

Nico O’Reilly Another confident showing from the youngster following his debut against another side. Saka did not capitalize on full advantage of an exquisite touch over the Albania defence. The role is his to lose so soon. 7/10

Adam Wharton His maiden beginning in an England shirt. A bit sloppy in possession however his whipped deliveries posed a danger. A handy pace-controller available to the boss to utilize against teams who drop deep. Cautioned for a poorly timed foul. 6/10

The midfielder Deliveries from corners and free-kicks were dangerous. Had freedom to drift down the left flank but was in an offside position as the pass came with a chance to score. Given a well-earned substitution after an hour. 6

Jude Bellingham Operated in a forward spot down the right while also contributed with the hard yards. Showed glimpses of brilliance but dragged a shot wide. Replaced late on by Rogers, his rival, after receiving a caution. 7

The winger Was presented with England’s clearest opportunity before halftime, his strike well saved from Thomas Strakosha. With a teammate hanging back, it fell to him to offer an outlet down the right side but his crosses from wide areas were inconsistent. Taken off with 15 to go. 6/10

Harry Kane The decisive figure scoring 77th and 78th strikes for his country. The first a trademark opportunist's goal while the second a classy header after peeling away off his defender. Now 32, he’s only getting better and the side are strong contenders next summer when he's in the team. 8

Eberechi Eze Had difficulty to get into the game from the left. Was presented with a presentable chance following a pass by Bellingham yet the keeper made the save. His replacement had a greater an impact in his place. Five
