The loved ones of teens lost after a tragic blaze at a establishment in a Switzerland's ski resort are facing an excruciating period of uncertainty for answers and requesting any details about their children via social media.

The inferno engulfed the a popular bar in Cans-Montana, located in the mountains of the Valais region, in the middle of the night of the first day of the year. Verified images show the roof structure igniting as bottles with fireworks are raised in celebration.

Emergency services have stated that it could take an extended period to identify the those who perished of the disaster, which killed four dozen individuals and hurt another over a hundred. Officials noted on the latest update that the majority of the those hurt have been identified, with the process ongoing to identify the final individuals.

In the meantime, loved ones have been taking to the internet to plead for clues about their missing relatives who were in attendance that fateful night.
